Roots & Wings

A 9 Month Immersive Journey Into Expansive,
Multi-Dimensional Realms of Leadership

Next Cohort Starts January 2026

Meet Amelia

You're Invited

Roots & Wings is crafted for leaders who are not content with the status quo and seek to transcend traditional leadership paradigms. It is a call to step into a space of deep inquiry and experiential learning, where each session introduces a different participatory method to explore and practice together. These methods—ranging from relational attunement practices to collective visioning sessions—are designed to foster dialogue, collective insight, and embodied action. Unlike traditional programs that focus solely on cognitive learning, this workshop engages the full spectrum of your intelligence—integrating the wisdom of your body, the emotions of your heart, and your energetic, intuitive, & imaginative capacities. From the tangible to the intangible, from the known to the mysterious, this journey will challenge you to explore the multifaceted nature of how you lead.

Rewilding's Approach

The Rewilding Leadership approach is about returning leadership to its natural state: dynamic, resilient, and deeply connected. It draws inspiration from ecological principles, embodied wisdom, and systems thinking to address the challenges of modern leadership in a way that feels fresh, enlivening, and human. Leadership, much like nature, thrives when it is diverse, adaptive, and rooted in relationship.

We experience a leader as a person who, irrespective of their role or status, is passionate about a cause, inspires others to share in their cause, and together they collaboratively craft a future that was once only imaginable.

Our capacities to lead are rooted in our values, habits, personality, and worldviews. Revealing one's leadership essence is a journey of self-discovery that highlights your strengths and brings awareness to your shadows.

Today's unprecedented challenges call for masterful leaders who recognize that true leadership is about creating connections, listening deeply, and navigating stressful situations with equanimity.

To become a conscious embodied leader, we need more than just good ideas. We must learn to embody a presence and take actions that resonate with vision and values. This involves translating your ideas into new, tangible habits until they become an effortless part of you.

If you're dedicated to leading with greater impact or bringing a dream project to life, Rewilding Leadership is a place for you. When the essence of your leadership approach weaves somatic awareness and mindfulness alongside your intellect, you become more authentic & visionary. Leadership that transforms comes from the inside out and includes your whole self.

Why Somatic Leadership?

Neuroscience reveals that much of what we perceive and process flows through the body beneath the surface of conscious awareness. The body senses things the mind doesn't know. This steady stream of physical information shapes our experiences and decisions in profound, often unnoticed ways. When we rely solely on what the mind consciously grasps, we miss out on a vast reservoir of wisdom stored within the body. By tuning into this deeper layer through sensory awareness practices, we embrace our whole selves as a vital source of knowledge and insights.

What You'll Learn

Discover practical methods & tools to bring to your teams & organizations.

Participatory Methods

Each gathering, you will engage with a new participatory process, from dynamic facilitation and collaborative decision-making to storytelling and narrative construction. 70% of change efforts fail  in organizations due to lack of engagement and shared vision. Participatory processes have been shown to foster deeper understanding, enhance engagement, and encourage collective intelligence. By participating in these participatory processes firsthand, you will gain the skills to implement them within your organization - transforming meetings and system processes. This approach will inspire a more synergistic and innovative organizational culture.

Some of the activities you will experience include methods like Consensus Workshops and Deliberative Democracy, where you actively participate in shaping group decisions, feeling the power of collective intelligence and shared purpose. You will also be introduced to new tools for brainstorming in World Café sessions, which blend somatic presence with creative thinking to unlock fresh ideas and innovative solutions. Through Clearness Committees & Fishbowls, leaders witness how dialogue shifts when they move between the roles of active participant and observer, enhancing their capacity for reflective listening and strategic foresight.  Through Participatory Action Research, leaders engage stakeholders—including customers, employees, and community members—in collaborative research projects that address real-world challenges.

These are just a few of the many innovative meeting processes you will explore and engage in. Experiencing participatory methods offer leaders the opportunity to see how intentional approaches to holding space can shape outcomes. You will actively develop the skills and capacities required to facilitate collective intelligence, foster meaningful dialogue, and build resilient, adaptable teams that thrive in complexity.

Somatic Wisdom

Learn the language of your whole being, beyond your analytical mind to include

body wisdom, heart connection, energetic intuition, & imagination. Engage in practices that go beyond intellectual understanding, where intuition, creativity, and inner knowing play a crucial role. You will explore embodied practices such as guided visualizations, resourcing, and creative expression, all designed to deepen your connection to the unseen aspects of leadership. Through somatic exercises, movement, and breathwork, you will learn to access the intuitive knowledge that resides within, enhancing your ability to lead with presence.

Heart-Centered Communication

Become clear in your language and honest in your communication using a heart-centered approach. You will learn to create psychologically safe containers that focus on attuning to the current moment and immediate experience. This allows for the addressing of issues as they arise, fostering mindfulness and reducing misunderstandings. This approach creates an environment where individuals are encouraged to question and examine their own ideas rather than stubbornly hold onto them, stimulating new possibilities and bravery to share bold ideas.

Conflict Resolution

Learn to sit in the fire of conflict and trust that an understanding will emerge. You'll cultivate the ability to create a culture that moves towards fear & creative tension, navigates defensive behaviors, and embraces restorative justice practices. Group processing practices, such as T-Groups, create a space for individuals to openly explore interpersonal dynamics in real-time. These practices help participants observe and articulate their own emotional responses while receiving honest, non-judgmental feedback from others. This builds emotional intelligence, deepens trust, and fosters mutual understanding within teams. You will develop skills to work effectively with emotions, embracing the full spectrum of human experience. By engaging in these practices, you learn to move beyond surface-level conversations and address the root of conflicts and misunderstandings, transforming tension into opportunities for growth and connection. These abilities will empower you to foster deeper, more authentic connections, creating an environment where genuine understanding and collaboration can flourish.

Systems Thinking - Ecological Integration

Explore the deep connection between leadership and ecology, integrating ecological principles into your leadership practice. Systems thinking provides tools to map relationships, uncover hidden dynamics, and identify feedback loops that amplify or stabilize behaviors. By studying ecological systems, you’ll gain insights into adaptive responses, resource flows, and the dynamics of resilience—allowing solutions to take root and flourish within complexity.

Spending time in nature not only reconnects us with the wisdom embedded in living systems but also supports our nervous system, reducing stress and restoring balance. Studies show that even brief exposure to natural environments can lower cortisol levels, enhance focus, and improve overall well-being. Beyond physical health, being in nature deepens our awareness of interconnection, reminding us of our role within a larger web of life. By observing nature’s rhythms and reciprocity, we learn to lead with humility, attunement, and a sense of shared responsibility for the systems we influence.

Quantum Leadership

Delve into the principles of Quantum Leadership, where we explore the complexities of the quantum world and their parallels in leadership. You will learn to navigate uncertainty with grace, leverage the power of paradox, and embrace the non-linear dynamics of change. By studying Quantum Leadership, you’ll uncover how to lead with both stability and flow, harness the potential of unseen connections, and recognize the ripple effects of small actions. You’ll explore the art of adaptive decision-making, balancing intuition with data, and creating space for emergence, where innovation and new possibilities arise naturally.

Meet Amelia

A Living Laboratory

The work does not simply ask you to think about transformation; it immerses you in the transformative process itself, where learning happens every time we meet through direct interaction, relational awareness, and embodied presence. You don't learn about different methods and processes to apply, you get to experience them in action. We hold space differently, we practice what we teach.
